The inspiration behind this collection was Slawomir Rawicz’s The Long Walk, a disputed account of his 1941 escape from a Siberian gulag and subsequent 6,500-kilometer traverse to British-held India, with the Jerboa (a desert rodent) as this seasons animal.

This collection reused 'pre-flown' kites and desert camouflage material, to develop the chosen inspiration. Nearer the end, many of the piece were made from tulle and layering (as seen in the picture bottom right) in either black or red. My favourite is the top left picture because of the blend of geometry with the chosen colours and the long subtle parka.
