Graffiti Crawl

The 'Bring the Paint' festival was in the Cultural Quarter of Leicester, near the Curve Theatre as seen in the top right picture. Over 300 artists produced artwork both throughout the city with a focus on 26 huge scale murals by over 40 internationally renowned artists. Even though I may have missed this event the artwork was still available for me to see.

Each artwork was different to the next, some being extremely detailed and others focusing on typography. My favourite is the bottom left image of the flowers. This was displayed over the wall of a derelict building, as the detail is incredible its hard to tell it was sprayed on. I really believe in this idea of bringing art into a place thats is deprived and should be done more.
