Whilst walking through Amsterdam, I came across this window that showed all these funky bright colours and was talking about fashion. This exhibition was free allow the main road towards Dam Square. FashionForGood is the global initiative to make fashion more sustainable in Five ways; Materials, Economy, Energy, Water and Lives. This has only been a recent project but is planning to become a massive exhibition by 2018 to expose the unsustainable within this industry. The front room (the pictures with all the colour and pattern) is completely made out of potato fibres and 100% sustainable. Up the stairs presented some of the companies trying to become sustainable with videos of workers within NICs (like China and India) and a massive wall of people commenting on the wall in the picture in the top left corner. I decided to write upon this wall about material use and wastage, which has always something I felt strongly about. This is an area of always been keen to explore into being more sustainable in my designs and proceed to try this out.

'Supported by an Innovation Hub in Amsterdam, a startup accelerator in Silicon Valley and a worldwide network of changemakers, Fashion for Good will reimagine the way fashion is designed, made, worn and reused.'
