Van Gogh has always been an interesting figure in art for me, from his artwork to his life. This museum showcased most of his work, from early realistic landscapes and such artwork like 'The Potato Eaters' to final days in a mental Asylum (painting 75 pieces within 70 days). The museum also showed sketches and letters between friends and family to open up more about this infamous artist.
Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to take pictures of most the gallery apart from one of the five paintings of 'Sunflowers'. This piece has always been my favourite, due to the hues of yellow and effortless flow of the image. I even got the chance to touch the painting due to this being a feature to the museum.
