Disobedient Bodies

Disobedient bodies was an exhibition at The Hepworth Wakefield, curated by the designer JW Anderson. The collection of sculptures, garments and artwork was to explore artist interpretations of the human form. It included Naum Gabo (the top picture), Jean Arp, Henry Moore, etc as sculptures with Issey Miyake, Helmut Lang and Rei Kawakubo, as fashion designer, showing the close links. The exhibition was presented in little rooms (divided by curtains) crammed in with art and fashion, probably one of the best exhibition I've been to.
