This brand is created by Emily Wild, who want to develop the female wetsuit market to be more original in design and make the customer stand out more with colour and pattern. This is something that I agree with in general sportswear areas.

What sports do you focus on the most and why?

My sports are sea swimming, water sports and exploration, which is something that I do myself outside uni and enjoy.

What market do you think needs more focus on in the future?

I believe the market I am looking at, which is female wetsuits, need more look at, as the market is mainly just black and very similar to each other. I want to bring a new degree into it, making patterns and adding colour.

Name one of your design cues and expand?

Empowerment is possibly the main focus on this project, as my statement is "Empowering women in the water". I chose this cause I want women to feel confident in what they wear in and outside the sea and feel comfortable in their wetsuits, making them more feminine, etc.

Between aesthetics and functionality whats more important?

Functionality is more important as my work has to have a purpose and a specific function for either a sport or action but aesthetic is important as well but it definately comes with function

Where do you get inspiration from?

I want to look after the environment whilst the garments are still technical. The outdoors is also a big inspiration to me as well, the sea and surroundings.
