A. Little. Salty. is a brand created by Abi Little for female sailors, as there is a gap within this market. I think its good to go on experience and as she is a sailor it helps with the design process and getting the functional right.

What is your brand concept?

A. Little. Salty is an outwear brand specialising in nautical apparel. Addressing custom feminine designs using unique and functional materials at an affordable price.

What is your brand statement?

Affordable, feminine, customise

What sports do you focus on the most and what market do you think needs more focus on in the future?

I live by the sea and am a sailor myself and I think there is a huge gap in the market that current brands aren’t focusing on. I really struggle being tall to get any jackets etc to fit in length and to last any longer than a year so this is what I am targeting my brand towards. This is really where Ive got my inspiration from for this brand

Name one of your design cues and expand?

Custom- personal for each customer’s personality and fit

Feminine- to define shapes and purpose

Unique- nothing else in the market like it

Between aesthetics and functionality whats more important?

For my brand personally is functionality 100% it gets very cold and there isnt anyone out in the sea to be looking at you so doesn't matter too much what you look like. but personally to feel good when you come back ashore you want to be looking the part to mach all your crew members, so mostly functionality with an add of asthestic appearance
