Empower Apparel

Empower Apparel is the brand created by Emma Rees, who is interested in created sportswear that monitors your achievements within many sports. I believe this is a concept due to the sudden increase in people wanting to know whats happening with their body and wanting to be more active.

What is your brand concept?

it is motivational activewear which tracks your performance

what sports do you focus on the most and why?

I am very passionate about Equine and I love going to the gym as I get a good buzz after achieving more than my goal and pushing myself to the limit so this project is focused on how you can improve your own performance.

what market do you think needs more focus on in the future?

I believe as the technology industry is increasing and creating these monitoring gadgets for exercise, its something to sport industry are going to looking into more, so thats where the gap is for me.

name one of your design cues and expand?

One of my design cues is Adrenaline -increases blood circulation, breathing and carbohydrate metabolism. I thrive off adrenaline and I aim for my designs to do the same by calculating this type of information and motivating you to push yourself to achieve your goals.

between aesthetics and functionality whats more important?

I think both aesthetics and functionality plays a big part when designing but I would lean more to functionality as I like to design for a purpose in mind

where do you get inspiration from?

I would say my initial inspiration for this project is my passion for the gym and fitness as it gives me confidence and the feeling of achievement is so empowering
