As I am starting my blazer, I had some workshops to help sample certain areas of the blazer and to get used to adding lining into garments. Tailoring is very new to me and I'm not the most confident on my make but I couldn't be happy with how this was planning out. I feel that I've improved my skills today and feel confident in myself from this first section so hope the next couple will be as good as well.
In this section I practice putting the lining on the corner of a blazer, a false vent in the sleeve and a back vent. It was interesting to learn how to bag out properly and that linings are a little more complicated in the pattern

cutting aspect of things. In addition its made me think about facing being put into my blazer and where I would want that.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with the progress I have felt after this section and hope the others to come will be just as great.
