Shops in Munich

Marienplatz is the centre of Munich and is home to the typical shops, such as H&M and Zara. However, I have found that in European countries their stocks are a lot different to ones at home and I prefer what is on offer. In addition, there was some small independent shops like this vintage store in the picture. It was cramped full of old clothes from adidas tracksuits to camo trousers and denim Levi jeans.
I purchased a bucket hat (that was waterproof and padded) from COS. I had been looking out for this item since it came out and finding out it was close to selling out I didn't think I'd have found. I was very lucky! In addition I also got a thick wool jersey top from Zara, which will be great for the cold nights in spring as its shorter sleeved. It also goes well will all my clothes as its a plain mustard colour.
I always find it interesting to see what shops are in new places and what difference there is from my usual places.
