Toile 3: Sports Top

As the sports bra turned into a complete disaster, I knew I needed to redesign and go for more of a sports top. Taking into consideration what went wrong with the bra, I needed to have the curved panel around the bust to keep it tight fitted and make sure to not over stretch the fabric. I took the fitted t-shirt block and changed:
- the sleeve to a raglan, changing the front and back.
- Increased the neck line at front by 3cm.
- Added the curve panel slightly under the middle point of the raglan.
- Increased the length of the sleeve by 2cm
- Included a 3cm folded collar
I think overall this is a lot more successful than my first toile for this sports bra/top. I wanted to create this simplistic one so I could see whether it would be suitable and work well. I think the next toile needs to be considered as the final one, so use the flat seam and cover seam the sleeves, etc. I feel it gives an everyday feel to this piece, as it could be consisted athleisure, and will be made from similar fabric to the shorts (scuba).
What needs changing:

- The curve panel needs to be brought more central to the
bust, to make it fit better
- Reduce the high of the armhole by roughly 2cm
- Reduce the size around the waist by 1cm

- Add the other panelling, as seen in the picture to the left, and use the flat seam and cover seam.
