Shoe Project

I've been given the opportunity to do a weeks project for trainer design and make, to go along side my project and link in with it. So I had to make trainers with material from my outfit and had to be suitable for tennis and my customer. I decided to design some more trainers from my previous ones, to make something new for tennis and that can be worn everyday. The main part will be made from scuba fabric to be like a sock, and added on a toe guard, harder fabric at the front for protection and better movement and shock cord/pull string laces to make them easier to adjust to the foot. By the end of the week I will have a mock up version of what I've designed above from scuba and other fabric I can find, without the sole. I believe the one struggle I may have will be with the construction of this piece due to not having a wide choice of fabric and many aren't heavy weight.
