New Idea! Adding Pattern Piece

After testing out the tennis dress, the jumper part was easy to wrap around the waist and didn't affect the play of the game. However, I thought it looked wrong when around the waist (as it was punched up due to where it was attached on the garment). I thought it would be best to rethink this area to make it look more aesthetically pleasing and lay flat against the body.

I thought of creating this racerback panel that will be attached at the shoulders and the back of the skirt. It will be made out of the same fabric in the jacket mesh (airtex) for ventilation and may help support the back a little more. Unfortunately I forgot to bring my toile in so I couldn't test it out yet to see if it worked and I had to use the mannequin to see if it was possible. In addition, I wanted to make sure the shoulder blades wouldn't have restricted from the fabric so I added the curve (which will be reflected on the other side). This link in nicely with the inspiration of Hockney with the swimming pool wave influence.

I am confident that this will work well just need to test it out first before I go ahead.
