Final Reflection

Tomorrow is deadline day and of course its on my Birthday. However, I believe this project has truly come together and I am proud of what I've created. I feel it generally shows the improvement and determination I have had this year compared to first year and I have enjoyed every moment of 2nd year from start to finish. This project has been the best for me to showcase all the skills I have developed this year from my CADS, to finally becoming confident within my make.

The best part of this process was with the toiling and seeing my designs come to life. I came across some problems that I had to quickly resolve. This is something I really enjoy, as it makes me thing outside the box and makes designing fun and interesting. The main example for this was the sports bra, as successfully failing twice, I changed the full design into a top to be more interesting for the customer and the results were better than

before.

The most difficult part of this project was getting my illustration right and after taking my time with it I believe I have achieved the best illustration I have done so far. I believe this was because of always struggling with my drawing, as its only just become a strength of mine. I guess I took the criticism too closely to heart and in the end came out with something I prefer anyways. It reflects the playful aesthetic and attitude towards to customer but still include a modern twist within it.

Overall, this project has been successful for me. I have push myself to the fullest and feel that I couldn't have done anything better. It was nice to do a new sports and to get involved with something I used to do like tennis. It was interesting to look into this side of sports and see how fair I could go away from conventional (even though I still have a white dress). And for all of them to come together well in the photoshoot made my day, to see it on someone and get their opinion was great.
